This bread is absolutely delicious! Be careful though, it will probably be gone in just a few days!
I always use the bread maker to make the dough, then place it into a bread pan for rising. After about 40 minutes, it's ready to bake! You will have a perfect loaf this way with no bread-pan holes in the bottom. :-)

Place on ‘dough’ cycle. Once dough is complete, split dough into two, and shape into loafs with seam side down.
Set aside and let rise until double, about 40 minutes.
Preheat over to 375*.
In small bowl, beat together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water. Brush the loaves with the egg mixture. Make a single long, quick cut down the center of the loaves with a sharp knife.
Use spatula and move to baking sheet with a swift move underneath the dough.
Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until loaves sound hollow when tapped on the bottom.
