Finally.. the place I’ve been looking forward to for months! A ‘Boondockers Welcome’ site in the name of “Redden’s Falls”. We are the only ones at this little secluded haven. Time for some real R&R.
Jack was a super nice host. He offered for us to fill up with water before we went to the peninsula where we would park. He guided us to our spot; he filled up the gravity filled water for the bathroom every morning, and even had built a gazebo for the RVers relaxing pleasure. This was truly a nice place to stay, and if you are members to Boondockers Welcome, we would highly suggest looking this one up! Details: This is a Boondockers Welcome location and is only available for BW memberships. If you are a traveler, love to meet people, and would love to visit beautiful locations you'd normally not see, check out BW. We think it was WELL worth the membership!

Heading toward Maine, we stopped at this KOA (listed below) because we wanted to swim in the pool with Pey before we dropped him off. We spent most of the day at Cuyahoga, and had a GREAT time with him, and he was excited to see and experience new things. This was a gorgeous location with a lot of nature trails and beauty. We would definitely recommend this for a visit.
Details: Streetsboro/Cleveland KOA; Streetsboro OH. * Note: This campground was a bit tight, but there were several locations on the far side of the park that had decent lots. We stayed here with Joe and family as a vacation away instead of going to Cedar Point. We visitied the aerospace museum, and had a dinner and campfire together.

Bumbleberry Acres is a blueberry farm owned by a couple that is very generous in letter RVers stay with them. We were welcomed with an awesome explanation of the blueberry types and how they grow best. We were then offered to meet their petting zoo, walk the property and relax. The next day we found a local trail and road into town. It was awesome!
Before departure, they blessed us with a homemade Bumbleberry Pie! Yumm! Details: Bumbleberry Acres is a Harvest Host location on the west side of the state. You may not be able to stay there if you are not a HH member. However, please visit them during the Blueberry season for some awesome berries & bakes! Met up with Jeff & Lisa. Had dinner, walked the harbor & visited by campfire. Such a wonderful time!
Stay Details: Outdoor Adventures, Grand Haven Outdoor Adventures is a membership only campground/RV park. See more information about them HERE. I would absolutely love to see more options like this, Pay what you’re able, pay it forward, or work for your meal. Along with the very healthy choices, this makes this restaurant top notch! We will definitely be looking for more of these.
Details: Daniel's Kitchen, Edmore MI. This was our first "Boondockers Welcome" location. The family of four was extremely polite, and even joined us in the camper for an evening of fellowship. It was an awesome experience.
Then had a beautiful day on a day-long biking excursion. We found the diamond in the ruff, the ‘Fred Meijer Flat River Trail’ in Greenville. I highly recommend this trail to anyone who travels in this area. The couple suggested going to eat at the sister's restaurant, Daniel's Kitchen. It was the turning point to us thinking about how we eat, and we really enjoy the creativity with vegetarian meals. Details: This is a Boondockers Welcome location in west Michigan. If you are a member, feel free to look them up. :-) If you are not a member, it is well worth looking into HERE. Who ever said that following your dreams was easy? Lots of tears as we said “see ya later” to our friends & colleagues. It was a wonderful party, thank you for arranging it Danelle!
Details: We stayed in the driveway at Mark & Danelle's home. We went on this vacation with Maria and family so we can have time to get away together before heading out. We had a wonderful time together, went swimming, biking, and even prepared meals together! What fun and such memories!
