We stayed here with Joe and family as a vacation away instead of going to Cedar Point. We visitied the aerospace museum, and had a dinner and campfire together.

What a great retirement party and a great turn-out! Thank you so much Katie for heading this up, to Maria for making the awesome PowerPoint, and especially to the entire family who visited to made this so special for Mark. It couldn’t have been any more perfect! We love you all!

Bumbleberry Acres is a blueberry farm owned by a couple that is very generous in letter RVers stay with them.  We were welcomed with an awesome explanation of the blueberry types and how they grow best.  We were then offered to meet their petting zoo, walk the property and relax.  The next day we found a local trail and road into town. It was awesome!

Before departure, they blessed us with a homemade Bumbleberry Pie!  Yumm!

Details: Bumbleberry Acres is a Harvest Host location on the west side of the state. You may not be able to stay there if you are not a HH member. However, please visit them during the Blueberry season for some awesome berries & bakes!

Met up with Jeff & Lisa. Had dinner, walked the harbor & visited by campfire. Such a wonderful time!

This was our first "Boondockers Welcome" location. The family of four was extremely polite, and even joined us in the camper for an evening of fellowship. It was an awesome experience.
Then had a beautiful day on a day-long biking excursion. We found the diamond in the ruff, the ‘Fred Meijer Flat River Trail’ in Greenville. I highly recommend this trail to anyone who travels in this area.

The couple suggested going to eat at the sister's restaurant, Daniel's Kitchen. It was the turning point to us thinking about how we eat, and we really enjoy the creativity with vegetarian meals.

We went on this vacation with Maria and family so we can have time to get away together before heading out. We had a wonderful time together, went swimming, biking, and even prepared meals together! What fun and such memories!

A quick overnight stay on the way to Ohio. Cabelas allows RVs and trucks to stay in their back lot. There are no hookups, so you'll have to be self-contained.  We found this to be one of our favorite quiet spots.

* Note: If you notice on Google Maps, take a look at the left (west) side of the building. There are 3 large lots for parking. The south lot is overflow, the middle lot is for semi trucks and the north most lot is for RVs.  The first overflow lot is where the dump station is. The dump station requires a $5 fee to use, or for you to buy something in the store.  :-)

We found this campground during covid issues, and we enjoyed our stay here. The people were extremely nice, but we wouldn't want to pay for campgrounds this close to Cabelas on a normal basis. We certainly enjoyed being able to be out and about amongst the lock-down.

* This park was an extremely pleasant place to visit. The staff was great and the people that stayed there full time welcomed us with open arms. I would highly recommend staying here.
