Leland Harbor / Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds

We purposely met up with Chad and Sarah, friends we found in the GeneralRV parking lot in Wixom. During the stay, we took a ride up to mission point and Traverse City, but we also had some good conversation with Chad and Sarah about life-coaching and full time RV living. We friended each other on FB, and vowed to meet up again in future travels.

The visit to Leland Harbor and Sleeping Dunes was pretty awesome. There has been a lot of rain this year, so they were pretty flooded. 

Stay Details: Northwestern MI Fairgrounds; Traverse City MI.
* Note: The fairgrounds themselves were pretty plain. We had electric and water but no sewer, but they did have a dump station. I wouldn't normally choose a fairgrounds to stay, but it was alright if needing a place.
